1. Ok..........
2. A. Expressionism is a tendency that an artist has that he or she uses to convey their own type of emotional effect. Cognitivism in art is a view that a particular work of art is only valuable if it has some contribution to knowledge. The difference between these two is that expressionism can be used to describe part or all of every piece of art and cognitivism is more someone's opinion.
2. B. He believes that art should have some religeous background and should have the type of expressionism to make people viewing it to feel more sympathetic toward others.
2. C. The role of the viewer in Collingwood's opinion is that they should recreate the art they just viewed in their own mind and basically have a conversation with the artist in an imaginative state and discuss the art in its entirety.
2. D. The metaphores in Louis Bourgeois and Kiki Smith are used to portray their own subject matter. In Bourgeois' art she portrays her subject matter in a very extreme almost metalic form. in Kiki's art she portrays the female figure in a way that she deems the most feminist.
2. E. Karin Bos' art I think relates to my drawing. Her work seems innocent at first, but then when you look a little longer you realize that its kind of morbid. Same with mine.
